Underwater filming course, programs I level (beginners), II training level (advanced) have been compiled. Course theory can be learned both in the classroom and remotely (Zoom, Microsoft Teams).

There are 5 lessons in the basic filming course, a total of 10 hours, successfully completing the task, the graduate obtains an e-certificate PADI Underwater Videographer.

  • First lesson TECHNIQUE (equipment, technical means, lights)
  • Second lesson ART (color balance, framing, lighting, composition)
  • The third lesson WE CREATE A STORY (creating a script, storyboard, frame selection, composition)
  • The fourth lesson WATER (underwater filming lesson, we use models, we can use underwater scooters)
  • Fifth lesson EDITING AND PREMIERE (video editing, sound selection, learning Adobe Premiere or similar computer program)

Who should learn to be an underwater filmmaker?

Underwater video filming is the best way to preserve and pass on to others the underwater world of sight and dynamics. If you want to create the most beautiful video clips in the underwater world, then this diving course is for you. If you are a diver Padi Open Water Diver certificate, then you can apply PADI Underwater Videographer course.

Underwater filming course teacher

The teacher is PADI MSDT (Master Scuba Diver Trainer) diving instructor Valters Preimanis, professional experience:

  • Worked for regional TV as a video operator, author of several short films
  • Graduated in 2010 "Professional photography school“
  • 2010 - 2018 worked as a photography / video teacher “Photo Academy“
  • In 2011 he created a visual art studio “StudioGlamor”Gertrudes 44, who was successful until 2017, photographed and trained the photographer's work in the studio and with models.
  • In 2018, “Owl Academy” completed the course “Cinema directing“

As a diver, he has participated in many international filming projects, and has held office on the field -  underwater videographer, safety diver, international and local film companies.

As the author of the visual projects, I have formed teams for filming commercials for international companies, Volvo, VW Group and local. Acquired the right to teach underwater filming, PADI Underwater Videographer instructor degree in an international company PADI 2016 (Professional Association of Diving Instructors).
