The PADI Adaptive Support Diver program
Friends or family who dive with divers with special needs will benefit from the PADI Adaptive Support Diver training program for divers who dive with divers with special needs!
- Becoming more knowledgeable and aware of individual considerations when diving with people with disabilities.
- Adaptive techniques that can be used when diving with friends with mental and/or physical challenges.
The training program can be started by a PADI Open Water Diver or a PADI Freediver who is at least 15 years old and has completed EFR primary and secondary care courses, within 24 months, we invite you to attend the "PADI Adaptive Support" diver course. It is also recommended to complete the “PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy” course where you would practice perfect buoyancy.

How to apply for the PADI Adaptive Support Diver program
Starting from 2022, those interested can apply for training in PADI Adaptive Support Diver courses, these diving courses take place in Riga or we travel all over Latvia if there are 3 or more people in the group. The diver instructor has 17 years of diving experience, PADI MSDT, PADI Adaptive Techniques and EFR (Emergency First Response) instructor Valters Preimanis.
