From how many years can children start scuba diving in Latvia?

  • Children in Latvia acquire scuba diving skills, Open Water Diver, level 1 is from 10 years,
  • From the age of 12 it is possible to take a course, Advanced Open Water Diver, level 2 and receive an international certificate PADI Junior Open Water Diver.
  • The amount of training is 15 hours, divided into seven lesson days
The video below (June 16, 2021) shows young divers - Richard (11 years old) and Robert (14 years old), during open water classes, together with PADI instructor Valters Preimanis. In 2021, the Diving Club "Diving" is committed to completing a heated pool for divers. Complete the training with the diving club "Diving" and at least 15% of your training price will be directed to the creation of this pool. The pool will also be suitable for rehabilitation purposes.

  • Level 1 is from 10 years, Junior Open Water Diver;
