Underwater genre thriller, 3D movie Sanctum (2011), co-authored by James Cameron, is a story about underwater cave explorers, scuba divers exploring underwater caves. The main Sanctum The protagonist is a very popular scientist in the world, whose work has a meaning in life. His underwater caves are not just water, he likes to search and search until something new is found that others have never seen and may never see. As a result of coincidences, he now becomes the only hope for a whole group of people. Because initially only with interest, as in any other expedition, the search of the cave for the ocean becomes the only hope for the divers to escape. In extreme conditions of survival, even the strongest people break morally.

Sanctum (2011)

The group of divers is going on a very risky expedition to the largest cave system on Earth - an incredibly beautiful and almost inaccessible place. An unexpected tropical storm forces them to descend deep into this cave. The only salvation for the researchers is to find the unknown second way out to sea, overcoming the uncontrollable element of the rippling waters, the tricky underground traps and the deadly dangers that lie at the researchers every step of the way.
