We are proud of Guntas' achievements and wish him success in his future work!

What does the PADI Underwater Archaeology Diver certification mean?

The PADI Underwater Archaeology Diver certification is an internationally recognized qualification that demonstrates a diver's ability to perform basic underwater archaeological work. This certification requires theoretical knowledge of underwater archaeology, as well as practical skills in the study and documentation of underwater objects.

Why is underwater archaeology important?

Underwater archaeology makes an invaluable contribution to our understanding of the past. Many historical sites that have been lost or damaged on land have been preserved underwater. Underwater archaeologists study shipwrecks, the remains of ancient cities, and other objects that provide information about ancient civilizations, trade routes, and the history of seafaring.

Congratulations again to Guntis and we wish him exciting discoveries in the underwater world!
