As a firefighter-rescuer, he completed compressed air DIVATOR breathing apparatus training at the State Fire and Rescue Service, further learned to be a diver on October 20, 2005, undergoing training at the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (Ang. PADI - Professional Association of Diving Instructors ), trained in diving professional training in the islands of the North Atlantic Ocean, the Red Sea, the Norwegian Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. Participated in several underwater archaeological projects in Latvia. On July 24, 2006, he established the diving club "Daivings.lv". Made more than 5000 scuba dives.

Interests
He has been involved in travel and mountain hiking since childhood. He has been involved in extreme sports, parachuting from the altitude of 5000 meters, in total he has performed over 100 parachuting. Fascinated by photography and filming. Engaged in free diving, swimming in summer and winter, and various sports that develop physical health - running, rollerblading, riding a sports bike.
