An internship for young people, a Divemaster opportunity to become professional diving guides!

Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, Divemaster, girls

Do you love water, crave adventure, and want to turn your passion into an internationally recognized career? We are announcing a unique opportunity for young people – free internship to become a PADI Divemaster professional with an international certificate!

This is your chance to take your first big step into the professional diving industry without paying for the training course itself, but by investing your time, energy, and enthusiasm.

What is a Divemaster and why should you apply for it?

Divemaster is the first professional level in diving. It's no longer just about "swimming and watching fish." It's about leadership. When you become a Divemaster, you learn to lead groups, assist instructors in training, and ensure safety both above and below the water.

What will you gain during the internship?

  • International certificate: By passing the internship and exams, you will earn the PADI Divemaster title, which opens the door to work anywhere in the world – from Caribbean resorts to research vessels in the Arctic.
  • Real work experience: You will work side by side with experienced Latvian instructors, help organize real diving events, prepare equipment, and work with clients.
  • An unforgettable experience and commune: You will become part of the daivings.lv team and the core of the Latvian diving community.

How does the free internship model work?

Diving education at a professional level is usually expensive (course costs, materials, certification). We offer "work and learn" model:

  1. We invest in you: We provide theoretical and practical training, pool lessons, and open water practice free of charge.
  2. You invest in us: You help with the club's daily operations - assist with training, help new divers, take care of technical equipment, and participate in club outings.

Important: PADI training materials and membership fees to the organization are usually covered by the candidate themselves, but the training itself and the instructor's work are completely free for you!

What are we looking for? (Requirements for candidates)

This program is designed for purposeful and responsible young people. To apply, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: At least 18 years old (ideal for students and young people on summer vacation).
  • Certification: Preferably at least PADI Rescue Diver (Lifeguard) or equivalent certification and at least 40 logged dives (logbook). If you are missing a level, contact us - we will discuss an individual plan on how to reach them!
  • Personality: You must be communicative, punctual, have a high sense of responsibility and good language skills (Latvian and preferably English/another language for communicating with tourists and learning study materials).
  • Health: Good physical fitness and healthy habits.

How to apply?

The number of places in the internship program is strictly limited, as each candidate receives maximum attention from instructors.

If you're ready to turn your summer (and possibly your entire life) into an unforgettable adventure, do the following:

  1. Send your CV and a short motivation letter (why you are the right candidate?) to e-mail: [email protected] (or fill out the form on our website).
  2. We will contact the best candidates to invite them for a face-to-face conversation over a cup of coffee (and diving gear).
