The main goal of the Swedish-based organization Ocean X Team is to search for sunken treasures in the Baltic Sea. The organization has highlighted antique high-end alcoholic beverages and historical artifacts that have been transferred to museums.
The Ocean X Team began their wreck-finding career by locating an American B-17 bomber in 1992 off the east coast of Sweden.
In 1998, 2,400 bottles were highlighted Heidsieck & Co MONOPOLE Gôut Americain 1907 champagne. The alcohol was lifted from the wreck and sold at record prices at Christie 's Auction House in London.
The Ocean X Team has participated in many other wreck survey projects and is constantly working on new projects.
