PADI Dry Suit Diver Course

Since diving is getting easier and more popular, diving club "Divings.lv" offers to learn the "PADI Dry Suit Diver" course.

This course is for those who want to learn to dive with dry suits. Dry suits are perfect for diving in cold water as they reliably protect the diver from hypothermia.

During the course, you will learn all the necessary knowledge and skills to dive safely and confidently with a dry suit. You will learn about the different types of drysuits, how to put them on and take them off, as well as basic drysuit diving skills.

The course consists of two parts:

• Theory part
• Practical part

Theory part

The theory part is learned remotely using the PADI eLearning platform. In this part you will learn the following topics:

• Types and construction of dry suits
• Putting on and taking off dry suits
• Buoyancy control in dry suits
• Dry suit diving safety

Practical part

The practical part is learned in a diving pool and in open water. In this part you will practice all the skills learned in the theory course.

In the pool you will learn the following skills:

• Putting on and taking off dry suits
• Buoyancy control in dry suits
• Prevention of risks of water ingress into dry suits

In open water you will learn the following skills:

• Dry suit diving in different water conditions
• Dry suit diving using different diving techniques

At the end of the course you will take an exam consisting of a theory and a practical part. If you pass the exam, you will receive a PADI Dry Suit Diver certificate.

The course is suitable for anyone who wants to learn to dive with a dry suit. There is no age limit for the course.

The course takes place in Riga, at the diving center "Daivings.lv".

The duration of the course is 2-3 days.

The course costs 250 EUR.
