Following the Impulse project, we have successfully transferred the same design parameters for the S-wave deformation to this innovative flipper.
This particular movement allows the blade to store a significant amount of elastic potential energy, which is released on the return stroke, turning into thrust.
The thermoplastic rubber used for the water drainage rails is extremely flexible and soft so as not to compromise the blade's inherent properties.
