Following on from the Impulse project, we have successfully transferred the same design parameters for the S-wave shape to this innovative carbon flipper. This particular movement allows the blade to store a significant amount of elastic potential energy, which is released on the return stroke, turning into thrust.
The effect is achieved through a finite element program that allows you to take full advantage of the performance offered by carbon fiber.
