Description
PADI Tec 40, your first step into technical diving
Have you ever wanted to stay underwater longer, explore deeper wrecks, or simply go where regular recreational divers don't go? PADI Tec 40 The course is a bridge that connects sport diving with the exciting world of technical diving.
This course is the first stage in a full PADI Tec Deep Diver program. It is designed to make the transition from no-decompression diving to technical diving safe, understandable and controlled.
What will you learn during the course?
In the Tec 40 course, we don't just talk about theory, we develop iron-clad skills and discipline:
-
Technical equipment: Getting to know double balloons (twinset) or lateral configuration (side mount), as well as the use of decompression cylinders.
-
Decompression planning: You will learn to use dive planning software and computers to calculate gas consumption and decompression stops.
-
Gas management: Working with enriched air (Nitrox) up to 50%to speed up the decompression process and increase safety.
-
Emergency response: What to do if an equipment failure occurs or gas runs out at depth.
Course parameters and restrictions
After successfully completing the course, you will be qualified to perform limited decompression dives:
| Parameter | Description |
| Maximum depth | Up to 40 meters |
