The \u201cVesala J\u016bra\u201d association invites you to the Underwater Diving Festival on August 15, 16 and 17, 2025! Participation and tent space are free.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the fifth year in a row, the exciting\u00a0Underwater diving festival<\/strong>, this time gathering diving enthusiasts in the picturesque Lapme\u017eciems. As part of the festival, divers from the \u201cVesala J\u016bra\u201d association invite everyone interested to explore the secrets of the underwater world and participate in various activities.<\/p>\n

In the festival program:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Seminar on underwater diving opportunities:<\/strong>\u00a0Learn more about diving techniques, safety, and the exciting places you can visit underwater.<\/li>\n
  • Presentation about historical wrecks in the Gulf of Riga:<\/strong>\u00a0Explore the underwater history of the Gulf of Riga and its mysterious shipwrecks.<\/li>\n
  • Discussion on marine ghost nets:<\/strong>\u00a0Learn why ghost nets are dangerous to the marine environment and how they can be removed from the sea.<\/li>\n
  • \u201cDiving against debris\u201d campaign:<\/strong>\u00a0Participate in the sea cleanup campaign and receive an international PADI certificate!<\/li>\n
  • Boat trips at sea:<\/strong>\u00a0Embark on an exciting adventure and dive into the world of nearby wooden wrecks.<\/li>\n
  • Opportunity to try out diving equipment in a portable pool:<\/strong>\u00a0Try diving in a safe environment under the supervision of instructors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
