PADI Sidemount Specialty course

Sidemount diving is an exciting and versatile form of diving that is growing in popularity. This method offers several advantages, including:

  • More targeted weight centering and proper horizontal swimming. Side-mounted balloons are closer to the diver's center of gravity, which makes diving easier and more stable.
  • Better convenience. The side-mounted balloons do not interfere with the diver's movements, as can be the case with a traditional BCD.
  • More efficient use of energy. Side mounted balloons allow the diver to use their energy more efficiently by not having to lift the entire BCD up.

PADI Sidemount Specialty course is designed for recreational divers who want to learn this exciting method of diving. The course covers all the necessary knowledge and skills to dive safely and effectively with side mounted balloons.

Course content:

  • Theory: principles, safety, technique of diving with side mounted balloons.
  • Practical training: learning to dive with side mounted balloons, diving safety procedures.

Course duration: 2 days

At the end of the course: participants receive a PADI Sidemount Specialty certificate, which entitles them to dive with side-mounted balloons to a depth of 40 meters.

The course is led by: experienced diving instructors who are certified PADI Sidemount Specialty instructors.

Course prices:

  • 1 member: 300 EUR
  • 2 participants: 250 EUR/participant
  • 3 participants: 250 EUR/participant
