Down there, five meters below this freeze, a \u201ctreasure\u201d lay dormant at the bottom of the lake \u2013 a lost iPhone. It stored not just data, but a family\u2019s most precious memories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many said: <em>\u201cIt\u2019s too dangerous,\u201d<\/em> or <em>\u201cThe water is too cloudy.\u201d<\/em> But we didn&#039;t hesitate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Preparation:<\/strong> Every detail is important \u2013 regulators that don&#039;t freeze, safety ropes, and precise team cooperation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Under the ice:<\/strong> After 30 tense minutes, the long-awaited signal sounded in the dark depths, the rope was pulled 3 times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The result:<\/strong> A miracle happened! It is the highest level of piloting in diving disciplines. It teaches:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Psychological resilience:<\/strong> Working in an overhead environment requires iron willpower.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Equipment knowledge:<\/strong> You have to trust your technique for the 200%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Teamwork:<\/strong> The diver on the ice surface is just as important as the one below it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Baltijas_juras_attirisana_ar_%E2%80%9Cspoku_tikliem%E2%80%9D\"><\/span>Cleaning the Baltic Sea with \u201cghost nets\u201d<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our mission does not end with searching for lost things in lakes. A bigger and tougher challenge awaits us in the Baltic Sea. These are <strong>\u201cghost networks\u201d<\/strong> (ghost nets) \u2013 abandoned or lost fishing gear that continues to kill fish, seals and birds for decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During recent expeditions, we have pulled hundreds of meters of this deadly weed from the depths of the Baltic Sea.
