A team of technical divers from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Germany have joined together in an ambitious mission to explore ancient shipwrecks in the depths of the Baltic Sea. The main goals of the expedition are to obtain more accurate data on the locations, types and conditions of the wrecks, as well as to preserve this valuable cultural heritage for future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Special attention is paid to two important ports - Dirhami Port and Kalana Port. These locations have been chosen based on historical documents and previous research that suggests the possible presence of rich shipwrecks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Divers use state-of-the-art technology to conduct detailed surveys of wrecks. Special underwater drones, 3D scanning devices and other tools are used to obtain accurate three-dimensional models of the structure of the wreck. The obtained data will be used to reconstruct the ships, analyze their cargoes and obtain more information about the trade routes and shipping methods that took place at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
