Suitsetaja kopsud ei erine mitte ainult visuaalselt, vaid neil on ka erinev konsistents. Vahel tuleb isegi imestada, kuidas eluks vajalike gaaside vahetus neis \u00fcldse v\u00f5imalik on. Samuti v\u00f5ib t\u00e4heldada tubakatarbimise m\u00f5ju ateroskleroosi tekkele perifeersetes ja koronaararterites. CO ehk s\u00fcsinikmonooksiid, tuntud ka kui s\u00fcsinikmonooksiid.<\/strong><br \/>\nMeditsiinilisest aspektist on absoluutselt ebaselge, miks hakkavad v\u00f5i j\u00e4tkavad suitsetamist inimesed, kes tegelevad allveeujumisega, kus kvaliteetne gaasivahetus ja hapnikuvarustus on h\u00e4davajalik. Suitsetamine v\u00f5ib ja teadaolevalt m\u00f5jutab gaasivahetust kehas. Tubaka p\u00f5lemisel tekib palju m\u00fcrgiseid \u00fchendeid, millest tuntuim on kasvuhoonegaas. See tekib siis, kui mistahes orgaanilised \u00fchendid on mittet\u00e4ielikult p\u00f5lenud ja m\u00f5jutab oluliselt punaste vereliblede v\u00f5imet kanda hapnikku keha kudedesse. Kui mittesuitsetaja (m\u00f5\u00f5detud parameeter on karboks\u00fchemoglobiin) veres on s\u00fcsinikmonooksiidi tase 2%, siis suitsetajatel on see parameeter viis korda k\u00f5rgem (halvem).<br \/>\nM\u00e4rkus: Vaata protsente umbusklikult, sest tekib kahtlus, et originaaltekstis on mainitud promille, mis vene keelde t\u00f5lkides muutusid protsentideks. Kopsudes toimub gaasivahetus v\u00e4ikestes kotikestes, mida nimetatakse alveoolideks. Nikotiin p\u00f5hjustab l\u00fchiajalist veresoonte ahenemist, t\u00f5stab verer\u00f5hku ja pikaajalisel kasutamisel aitab kaasa ateroskleroosi tekkele. Ateroskleroos omakorda p\u00f5hjustab aja jooksul probleeme, mis on seotud ebapiisava verevarustuse ja sellest tuleneva hapnikupuudusega kudedes. Kui selles protsessis osalevad pea- v\u00f5i seljaaju varustavad veresooned, siis l\u00f5pptulemuseks on diagnoos \u2013 insult. Kui s\u00fcdant varustavad veresooned on kahjustatud, v\u00f5ib suitsetaja saada s\u00fcdameataki. \u00c4kiline valu s\u00fcdame piirkonnas viitab omakorda isheemilisele haigusele. K\u00f5ige tavalisemad kopsuv\u00e4hi t\u00fc\u00fcbid on mittesuitsetajatel haruldased. Suitsetajatel on seevastu v\u00e4ga tuntud seos selle ohtliku haiguse ja tubakatarbimise vahel. Suitsetamise ohud s\u00f5nastas juba 1984. aastal USA tervisekaitses\u00fcsteemi peaarst ja kongress v\u00f5ttis need vastu avaldamiseks k\u00f5ikidel tubakatoodete pakenditel ja reklaammaterjalidel. Tubaka tarvitamist seostatakse mitte ainult kopsu-, kurgu- v\u00f5i suu\u00f5\u00f5nev\u00e4hi tekkega, vaid ka selle t\u00fc\u00fcpidega teistes organites. V\u00e4hk on sisuliselt tubakatoksiinide m\u00f5ju rakkudele, mis kaotavad oma normaalse kasvu ja eneseregulatsiooni mehhanismid. Seet\u00f5ttu on olemas definitsioon, et tubakasuits sisaldab kantserogeenseid (v\u00e4hki soodustavaid) aineid. Nagu juba mainitud, kui tubakasuits \u00e4rritab hingamisteede villi, p\u00f5hjustab see nende rakkude muutumist, luues toksiinide suhtes resistentsemad t\u00fc\u00fcbid, millel ei pruugi olla normaalse rakukasvu, vastasm\u00f5ju ja iseregulatsiooni mehhanisme.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Noorus on eluetapp, mil paljud tunnevad, et neil on v\u00e4he v\u00f5i \u00fcldse mitte aega j\u00e4\u00e4nud.
